We find the sense of flow we seek when we hold the appropriate tension in our mental, emotional, and physical states.
THIS IS THE PRACTICE OF SOUNDHEART
As a member of SOUNDheart, you are offered individual opportunities to nurture yourself, your life, and your relationships. And, together we nurture the path forward towards our collective wellbeing. Thank you for adding your resources, valuable energy, and trust to this endeavor. May we bring about a living legacy of wellbeing through our own engagement with Life.
SOUNDheart
Our founder, Sherene Cauley, started The Nurtured Life in 2003. This program developed as a way to support families in integrating healthful life practices within the framework of modern society. The Nurtured Life Path has always been for those seeking deeper meaning and engagement with Life. To nurture something requires that we offer both loving support and honest accountability. This fierce compassion enables people and other entities to grow with freedom and healthful boundaries. From The Nurtured Life has grown the SOUNDheart program.
PERSONAL INCENTIVE
A soundheart can balance with grace at the pinnacle of presence. This requires the courage and ability to slip, and the agility to re-balance almost constantly. Through this practice we find that grace and balance are an experience of appropriate tension, not a state of ease or relaxation. And yet, ease and calm are the physiological outcomes of this process.
Members of the SOUNDheart community are offered monthly support and relevant actions to cultivate this state of sounded-ness in their everyday lives. See below for membership benefits
COLLECTIVE INCENTIVE
There are a lot of ideas about what causes discord in our world, but not a lot of practical ideas about how we can bring about community care and wellbeing. That is one of the reasons we keep “treading water” rather than choosing forward actions. We will need to build a bridge to that future if we want it to materialize. The future we wish for is one that manifests through the actions we take towards it.
In order to do this we will need to develop new tools for the journey, we will need to train ourselves to be ready for the experience, and we will need to design systems to make all of that possible. As a member of SOUNDheart, you will engage with research and develop new skills that support cultural wellbeing.
